Description

These 1/2″ AR550 gongs can be used with handguns up to magnum caliber rifles. Pistol calibers should be used at 10 yards minimum. .223/5.56 may be used as close as 30 yards from the gong. Calibers larger than .223/5.56 up to and including .308 winchester must be used at 50 yards or more. Anything larger than a .308 should be used at 100 yards. This is the same steel that makes up our legendary .50 caliber rated Goliath Target.

Please note: Proper hanging must be used for these targets. Targets must be able to swing when struck to absorb impact like our A-DAP system. Because we cannot ensure proper mounting by customers, distance recommendations may need extended to avoid target damage. Customers must shoot a few test rounds after hanging and must inspect gong target face for deformation or pits before continuing to shoot. If marking, pitting, dimpling occur, increase distance until they no longer occur.

For complete silhouette systems look at our A-DAP target system.

Does This Product Fall Under Prop. 65 Warnings?
  • Maybe. Just in case, be sure not to eat the paint or lick the target before or after you’ve shot it. If you are just curious, led tastes horrible and will probably cause mental damage. If you have done it once you are likely to do it again. Handle at your own risk, if you choose, you may wear an industry grade hazmat suit and gas mask with a HEPA filter and good luck charm on your wrist.
