The Crossfire 2 MOA Red Dot blends function and form in a compact package that doesn’t cost a million bucks.
When it comes to optics and red dot sights, you do get what you pay for. The Crossfire red dot, although very inexpensive, has proven itself in our hands. We take it seriously anytime we recommend a product. We have personally run these units hard for the past 5-6 years and have had great results. This red dot is designed to offer what someone needs for a budget price yet still offer great performance.
What is included in the packaging?
Inside the box there is a lower 1/3 mount (the taller of the two mounts), a low mount (for platforms like AK variants, lever action rifles, offset red dot applications), a Torx wrench for installation, lens covers, a CR2032 battery and a user manual.
Performance, Reliability, applications:
The performance of the crossfire red dot is on par with even higher end red dots on the market. The glass is clear, resists fogging, and the dot is nice and crisp, so long as you don’t have an astigmatism. Battery life of the unit is advertised at 50,000 hours with one CR2032 battery. Keep in mind, battery life will vary based on illumination setting as well as conditions it is used in.
Users who want even higher durability, solar function, push button illumination adjustment and an even more refined product should consider the SPARC Solar found HERE.
