Under FDR the government dictated (Executive Order 6102) that any gold you possessed that was over $100 worth would need to be turned into the federal government. In return, they promised to pay you BELOW market value for gold in fiat currency (the dollar). Shocking, right? Yes: The government issued an executive decree DEMANDING you turn in assets you owned. Smart people refused. But many did not. ⁠

This soon ushered in an era of removal of the gold standard. Up until that point, our currency was backed/guaranteed by hard assets i.e. Gold. The government was restricted against endless printing of paper money. ⁠

It's no surprise that the government desired to remove us from the gold standard. It's no surprise that since the 1980's inflation is around 270%. The government acts in the interests of its stakeholders (AKA politicians and political elite). The government currently tells you to pay your taxes OR ELSE. Yet they print billions and ship this money to be cleaned in foreign wars where it trickles back into the pockets of the political "leaders". Our currency has been a wreck long before the "news" started talking about it. Most people just don't understand it. ⁠

Our money is backed by only one thing: Our government. We all know how well that's working out. ⁠

What’s worse is the media is fear mongering EXACTLY like they did in 2020. Or it’s trumps “pending arrest”. Both to distract us from the players who abuse us. They will dangle every shiny object to continue to steal your attention. Reject it.

Listen: focus on what YOU can control. Pursue personal excellence. When they try to make you fearful, remain strong. Stay focused. Train. Communicate. Eat healthy. Drink water. Do the simple things that make us ALL better.

They want nothing more than to keep you fearful and compliant. Your job is to see through the distractions, to break away from the games.

Our Gen 2 base features removable/replaceable pape

Our Gen 2 base features removable/replaceable paper holders. While we were doing this redesign, we opted to increase the size of the paper holders. We’ve had many customers over the years state that their lumber store did not stock perfect sized furring strips. The larger interior dimensions allow for wood that is swollen or a bit oversized to fit better. Less stuck wood is always a good thing. These come WITH each Gen 2 20” base. If you have an older welded base (Gen1) we also have slip fit replacement paper holders for those. The shown paper holders are for Gen 2 only.
