Updated Lead Times for Our Products

*Update 6/15/2020: We have now updated our website to show that customers should expect a 7 day lead time for orders. Many will ship faster but some will take 7 days. Orders for items like our Falling Tree and Rifle Dueling Trees MAY take longer than 7 days to process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

The last two months has been a whirlwind for us and our business. Through uncertainty we pushed forward and kept producing and shipping our orders as normally as possible. Thankfully up until this point we have been able to keep with extremely short lead times for shipping. Most orders have left in 1-2 days. We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming amount of people supporting us and our small business.

We have now hit a point where orders are coming in most days as fast as we produce and sometimes they are coming in at higher levels than we can keep up with. We are making some internal process upgrades and we have our staff running full steam ahead. In the mean time, we want to let you know that most orders may be a 2-3 week lead time for the time being.

The increased demand for our product coupled with shut downs in our state, slowed movement of raw materials and the sheer volume of orders coming in are creating this scenario. These are all good things (our company and team is growing!), but it simply means it is time again to reinvest in the business, make some adjustments as we always have, and continue making the awesome products you have come to know us by.

So what can you expect for the next 30-60 days? When you place the order, just be aware that it might be a few weeks until your order ships. All products will be set to “available” on the site and we do have inventory constantly refreshing. We will be processing and shipping as quickly as possible. Once your order ships you will receive an email with tracking information. Please don’t send emails about status of order until you have hit the 2 week mark from date of order. If you hit 2 weeks and want to check on the status you can email us and we will check on the status of your order. Otherwise we will be overloading inboxes and will not be able to effectively answer all shipping questions in a timely manner.

What are we doing to mitigate the effects of this increased volume and keep to our standard of short lead times? Good question. We are looking at new equipment now and are working at increasing efficiency in several key areas. Some of that, as I said above, will be equipment, some will be personnel. We are constantly adapting to the changing environment and are committed to staying on the leading edge of this industry.

One other thing to keep in mind: We are an extremely small business with a small, passionate team. Each target is made by us in our shop by hand (and CNC) and the quality is unmatched. Word has spread about us and people from all over the globe now know that we make the best steel targets for modern arms.
