1. Our Portable Bullet Trap is ENTIRELY manufactured from AR550 steel. ALL components of the upper are either 3/8” AR550 OR 1/2” AR550 (depending on selected options)⁠

2.⁠ Our strike plate is removable and replaceable. We think it’s pretty rad that this system can be serviced easily. If it’s time to replace your strike plate inside the trap, it’s a SUPER easy job with just some basic tools. ⁠
⁠
3. Adjustable High AND Low engagement angles / lean. Whether you shoot in a stadium, down flights of stairs, or even up elevations, the MOD 1 has you covered. ⁠
⁠
4.) High deflection engagement approved. Because the ENTIRE assembly is AR550 steel, even steeper engagements into the rubber will be fully captured and contained. Many other traps utilize mild steel for the sides and other components. Not the case with our Bullet Trap. ⁠

5.) The entire assembly features an armored funnel to capture lead and fragmentation. Additionally, you can lay the entire assembly flat, without tearing it down, to fully service all components. Convenient, safe, and simple. ⁠

Dry Fire should be a staple in your training... here are a few reasons why:⁠
⁠
1.⁠ It’s Free. It costs you nothing but time. It’s easy to make excuses to not hit the range due to cost, but there are no excuses not to dry fire. ⁠
⁠
2. It isn’t weather dependent. Rain, snow, hail, or sunshine, you can dry fire indoors. ⁠
⁠
3.⁠ You work every shooting skill with the exceptions being shot calling (arguably you are working this in a sense tracking your dot or irons will pressing the trigger) and recoil management. ⁠
⁠
4.⁠ You build a comfort and consistency in your weapon handling. The adage goes: Put a pistol in someone’s hand and I can tell you in 10 seconds how comfortable they are with firearms. It’s true. Become familiar with the gun you carry, how it works, and how to operate it instinctively.⁠
⁠
5.⁠ You can isolate movements and processes without them being masked by the BOOM and recoil. This allows you to focus on certain tasks, and use shot timers (and par times) to measure these raw skills. Then when you hit the range, you have a baseline to build off. ⁠
⁠
Bonus: Dry fire is a phenomenal way to get used to your first red dot. In a more controlled environment you can work on presentation, target focus, grip, etc. ⁠
