We ALMOST used the golf ball canon to showcase this, but figured that was a bad idea indoors. 😂😂

Not a perfect example, but: When a bullet hits a QUALITY plate, it fragments into thousands of pieces. These fragments will follow the plane, within a few degrees, that they impact. If your target plate features a forward lean, that also helps direct and dispel energy. If your target plate ALSO has movement when struck, that FURTHER absorbs energy and dispels fragmentation even better. Plus the movement lengthens the service life of the plate in general. ⁠

Also: best way to reduce Peter’s stress is to buy a target system and then train a ton this year. So get after it.

T-Posts hangers / mounts are a lower cost method to run steel targets on your range. The only real "downsides" are: You have to drive a T-Post into the ground (we manufacture a T-Post Driver for that) and they are not immediately moveable on your range. ⁠

The Upside: Lower initial cost. Also, if you have to mow around your range, T-Posts keep your grass free of bases that could be hit by mower blades. ⁠

The Upside of portable systems is they are a more "complete" option and are more versatile. ⁠

Normalize the words “cheap steel targets” to mean “DEADLY steel targets!”

We never strive for cheap, ever. Our objective is:

1.) safety
2.) performance
3.) real training value
4.) appearance, elegance, presentation
5.) cost

The cost is important, and we try to keep it as low as possible, but we will not sacrifice the more important things to offer a target at a lower price.

Some have called us pirates.

Some have accused us of gouging.

Some have even said it’s theft charging what we charge (really? A Genesis Tee post system complete with target plate is $107. We think they’d hate us even if we gave them away😂)

How we come up with prices is anticlimactic. We have a formula. This formula makes sure we can pay our team, invest in our business, create content, and develop new systems. We take all direct costs, plug them in, the formula does the magic. 🪄 Thats craaaazzzzy. 🪄

So if you want cheap, we may never be that for you. (Not really sorry about that) But if you want the best: well, now you’re onto something.
