Utilize this bracket to expand the potential of your Armored T-Post

This bracket kit is unique in the fact that it allows you to mount any of our A-DAP AR550 target plates to the middle of your Armored T-Post. You could mount a C Zone on the top, and a Reduced C Zone in the middle. Or, run the Mini Vital Zone on the top of the post, and a C Zone in the middle. The choice is yours. Running multiple target plates on our Armored T-Post gives you the ability to run more complex drills, transitions, and target sizes. The A-DAP AR550 target plates feature high performance, amazing warranty, and adjustable forward lean. If you are a high volume / serious shooter, this is a bracket you should consider adding to your Armored T-Post . Made from 3/8″ AR500. Powder coated. Hardware included.

A-DAP Front Attach T-Post Mount

The A-DAP Front Attach T-Post Mount provides a connection for A-DAP target plates to the middle of our AR500 Armored T-Post. The Armored T-Post features sets of two holes going up the spine. This unique feature allows users to mount multiple target plates above and below each other, creating a unique training experience. For folks looking to hang our various A-DAP Target plates in the middle portion of the post, this is the bracket you will need to purchase.

Manufactured entirely from AR500 Steel

The A-DAP Front Attach T-Post Mount is a one-piece component. Because we value lifelong performance, we chose to manufacture it from 3/8″ AR500 steel. Additionally, this bracket connects to the AR500 Armored T-Post via the included (2) 1/2″ X 1 1/2″ Grade 8 carriage bolts and locking nuts. Further, once bolted into place, a simple 1/2″ Clevis pin is all that is needed to mount the target plate to the post. You will need to use a 3/4″ Socket and ratchet or a 3/4″ Open end wrench for installation.

Benefits of the A-DAP target plates

A-DAP target plates consist of: Reduced C Zone, C Zone, Vital Zone, Mini Vital Zone, and Goliath sizes and shapes. The Reduced C Zone and C Zone may be purchased in 3/8″ or 1/2″ AR550 steel. Further, A-DAP Target plates offer adjustable lean angles. Choose your desired lean angle based upon your distance, caliber, and training needs. Additionally, A-DAP target systems ring loud and clear no matter the distance used. For extreme long distance shooting, we recommend our C Zone Target Plate in 1/2″ AR550. The C Zone is the loudest ringing target in our lineup. Additionally, it is rated for larger calibers, including many long action wild cat cartridges.

Frequently Asked Questions
1.) Does this bracket work with the Genesis AR500 Target Plates?

Answer: No it will not. The A-DAP Family of target plates are the only ones you should be using with this bracket. You can find them on the Exodus side of our website.

2.) How should I configure my target plates on the Armored T-Post?

Answer: There really isn’t a “right” and “wrong” answer here. Typically, folks will put the smaller target on the top, larger target on this bracket in the middle / front. That gives you a small target / big target array. Additionally, that could be a reduced C Zone up top, and a Vital Zone in the middle. Or you can run two reduced C Zones. The holes on the spine of the Armored T-Post allow a ton of adjustment to position your targets properly. Choose whatever best represents your training needs.

3.) What is the safe shooting distance of this mount?

Answer: Always follow the safe shooting requirements found in the A-DAP target user manuals and our other instruction manuals for our AR550 target plates.

4.) Does This Product Fall Under Prop. 65 Warnings?

Answer: Maybe. Just in case, be sure not to eat the paint or lick the target before or after you’ve shot it. If you are just curious, led tastes horrible and will probably cause mental damage. If you have done it once you are likely to do it again. Handle at your own risk, if you choose, you may wear an industry grade hazmat suit and gas mask with a HEPA filter and good luck charm on your wrist.
